Q: Are your fragrances authentic?
A: Yes, each bottle is quality-checked and researched thoroughly. We carefully transfer the authentic fragrance directly into our new, unused decant bottles. Our decants are free from any additives, dilution or alteration of any kind. We provide as much information as we can ascertain regarding the fragrance's age and other details. The retail bottle you see in the photo is the actual bottle your decant comes from, and our photos are real and unenhanced, so what you see on our website is what you receive in your order.
Q: What kinds of fragrances does AromaRendezvous sell?
A: We specialize in vintage, rare and discontinued perfumes and colognes. However, occasionally you will find something more modern in our catalog.
Q: Do fragrances expire?
A: If a fragrance is stored properly, it can maintain its quality and character for many, many years. At AromaRendezvous, we make sure all of our fragrances are stored in a temperature-controlled environment, away from direct sunlight. All fragrances are quality tested before being added to the catalog.
Q: What is a fragrance decant?
A: A decant is a smaller quantity of fragrance transferred from it's original bottle into a smaller, travel-friendly bottle.
Q: Why buy a decant instead of a full bottle?
A: There are many advantages to purchasing a decant vs a full bottle. The price for a full bottle can be extremely high, especially one that is rare or discontinued in nature. It also allows the ability to build a personal fragrance library or collection, with many choices and options, rather than investing in larger bottles. Our decant bottles are also travel-friendly, so they are much more easily taken on-the-go than a large bottle.
Q: How many sprays will my decant contain?
A: Our 5ml decant bottles will provide at least 60 sprays of fragrance. Our 8ml bottles will provide at least 96 sprays of fragrance. (12 sprays per ml)
Q: If a fragrance sells out, will I be able to purchase it in the future?
A: Quantities are limited. If you see a fragrance you've been searching for, we encourage you to purchase it while it's available, as it may not return. Check back often as we continually add new and exciting products!
Q: If I make a purchase, what will I receive?
A: We sell fragrance decants. The retail bottle is shown only for reference. You will receive a decant bottle that is properly labeled and carefully measured containing the fragrance of your choice. Just choose a size and your preference of decant bottle color.
Q: Can you tell me about your decant bottles?
A: Our decant bottles are high-quality, with it's body being made of thick glass in your choice of color. The bottle will arrive to you clearly labeled with the fragrance name, brand, volume and state that it is an independently rebottled fragrance from AromaRendezvous.com
Q: How should I care for my fragrance decant?
A: Store your decant in a temperature-controlled environment, away from direct sunlight. The decant bottles are refillable, so it is recommended to tighten the spray mechanism from time to time by twisting the collar to the right, where it meets the bottle. Be sure that when you remove the cap, pull rather than twist. Twisting will cause the entire spray mechanism to unscrew from the glass bottle. Once your decant bottle is empty, it can be cleaned and repurposed.
Q: Why is there a small amount of air in my bottle?
A: A small amount of headspace is necessary for the atomizer to perform properly, and for safe transit during the shipping process. Rest assured, the bottle is able to accomodate the volume you selected as well as a bit of room for air/headspace.
Q: Are the original retail bottles shown in your listings for sale?
A: We do not list the original retail bottles for sale on the website. If you are interested in purchasing the original retail bottle, you can inquire at info@aromarendezvous.com and our team can provide details on fill level and pricing.
Q: Can I request a specific fragrance?

A: No. AromaRendezvous is an independent fragrance decant retailer and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, authorized by, or sponsored by any fragrance manufacturer or brand featured on this website.
Q: How can I become part of your referral program?
A: It's easy! For every new customer you refer to AromaRendezvous.com, you'll receive a $7 store credit. Email info@aromarendezvous.com and let us know you'd like to sign up for the referral program. We'll issue you a referral code. When that code is used by your referral during their first purchase, it will apply 10% off their order, and you'll receive a $7 store credit.
